Kerstyn Ludlow, LAMFT — Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Long before I sat in the therapist's chair, I sat in the client's. I came to therapy convinced that something in me needed fixing. I believed that my sensitivity was a flaw to manage rather than a strength to trust. Individual therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) changed that. I learned that my sensitivity is actually my superpower. It's what lets me stay open, attuned, and real with the people I love, instead of armoring up against them. That shift changed my marriage, and it shapes how I show up for my clients today: vulnerability isn't something to hide here. It's the focus of the work.
I'm an associate marriage and family therapist under the supervision of Michaela Decker, LMFT-15137. If you're coming to me as a family, romantic partnership, or friends, I draw on advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) to help you understand and reshape the patterns you're stuck in. If you're coming to me as an individual, my advanced training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) helps you map and gain control over the cycle that keeps you from showing up as your best self — for yourself and for others.
My practice is ENM and queer-affirming, and I love working with people who want connection that goes beyond convention into something deep, intentional, and meaningful. I have advanced training in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, and as a member of that community myself, I bring both clinical skill and lived understanding to the work. My experience with non-monogamous individuals and relationships means I can meet you wherever you fall on the relationship spectrum, without judgment.
I approach each session by meeting you where you are and valuing your expertise as the person living your life. We'll work together in a safe, supportive space for vulnerability and emotional growth. Here, we repair rifts, improve communication, and build the kind of bonds that are meant to last.
